"And now for my favorite sneaker brand… Creative Recreation!!!"

Created in Orange County, California in the fall of 2002, Creative Recreation is lifestyle brand that offers footwear for young professionals "with style". Dressed up or dressed down a pair of theses slick kicks from Creative Recreation is guaranteed to compliment your outfit. Despite the high prices and unavailability of these sneakers in Jamaica, i have seen a few here and here, mostly worn by entertainers and trendy teens. Personally, i think Creative Recreation is the best sneaker brand ever created (having a few pairs my self), their being a self made company who didn’t seek any promotion or sponsorship from other pioneers in the footwear business just goes to show that it is the uniqueness and creativity of their sneaker that really sells its self.

I wonder why this brand isn’t popular in Jamaica, and why stores like Collectables or Shimmers which usually has the latest in designer fashions don’t carry it. These are the only sneakers i wear (Literally). I even started selling them to friends, (which was short lived due to that teifing courier service, dem know dem self) What i would really like to see is more of these exclusive brands becoming well known in Jamaica.
