With various previews popping up around the web, you’ve probably heard of or seen pics of the Valley Lo before, one of the many designs to come out of the Ransom by adidas collection. The sneakers are to be release in 2010, and feature a ripstop upper combined with a variety of versatile colorways. Stay tuned as we’ll surely see other looks from the collection in the coming weeks.

Milk Fed x Reebok Freestyle Hi
Japanese label Milk Fed collaborated with Reebok to create a “Zebra” themed Freestyle Hi . Utilizing Reebok’s black and white zebra print, bright pink soles, black patent leather straps and lavender laces, Milk Fed makes sure your feet can’t be missed.
The Milk Fed x Reebok Freestyle Hi “Zebra” is slated for a July 25th release.

Nas & Jr. Gong… Distant Relatives
Following up their previous collaboration on the track Road to Zion from Damian Marley’s Welcome to Jamrock album, Nas and Jr. Gong offer a preview into their latest development from the upcoming album Distant Relatives. A release date still hasn’t been announced, but this video gives a much better understanding of its content, inspired by Nas and Damian’s shared African ancestry.

Nooka x Heyday Super Debs High Top Sneakers
Heyday and Nooka have collaborated on a very limited run of 20 Heyday Super Debs’ emblazoned with Nooka’s String Theory triangle pattern. It is available in a white and a black patent colorway with airmesh side panels and Nooka x Heyday printed on the top most strap of the 5 strap high top. The black version will drop July 9th at Nooka’s Pop Up Shop at Odin’s DEN on East 11th st in NY. The White version will drop later this year.

BauBike by Michael Ubbesen Jakobsen
The BauBike is inspired by Bauhaus design. It is constructed around the geometric shape of the square and the equilateral triangle. The design is stripped down to clean lines and raw material. The open-end piece above the back wheel, offers the possibility to customize the function of the bike to whatever need you may have. The different accessories can be placed in the tube and can easily be changed if needed.
By limiting the form with a fixed set of design rules and stepping away from the traditional function-oriented approach to the design process, this project transcends the border between design and art, raising fundamental questions about the nature of the bike as design and as a lifestyle accessory and introducing a much needed playfulness on the bicycle scene.
The design follows a set of formal rules, limiting the geometry to straight lines in a pattern of 60 and 90 degree angles in proportions following the principle of the golden section.
